Regular Testing and Check-ups:

• We strongly recommend regular STI screening every 3 months for sexually active individuals, especially those with multiple partners or engaging in unprotected sex. However, a full STI screening is reccomended at a minimum of once per year.

• You can discuss your sexual health history and concerns with our doctors to determine the appropriate testing required, frequency and schedule.
   

PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis):

• PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis) is a preventive medication used to reduce the risk of HIV infection in individuals who are at risk of acquiring the virus.

• It involves taking a daily or on demand tablet, that contains antiretroviral drugs to help stop HIV replication, significantly lowering the likelihood of infection during sexual activity.

• PrEP is recommended for those engaging in high-risk behaviors and is most effective when taken consistently.

• We can provide Prescriptions for PrEP as well as counseling and education on HIV prevention strategies and ongoing monitoring to support HIV prevention efforts.
